We recently built in Stonecutters Ridge estate at Colebee, and Colin's signs were plastered around the neighbourhood. When asking the neighbours their thoughts on his work, we received nothing but positive comments, so we contacted Colin to provide us with a quote. We did get quite a few people to quote, as we were working to a fairly specific budget. But even though others were cheaper, we kept coming back to Colin because he offered us a level of confidence and integrity that was missing from all the others. His knowledge of the Australian Standards and local council regulations is exceptional, and his ability to turn a vision into a reality is fantastic. Colin has done quite a bit of work for us, and it's still going.

Colin is across every aspect of his business and goes above and beyond for all of his clients. You will pay more more for the higher quality, but you won't be replacing his work in two years time. The quality of materials used is of the highest quality and everything is guaranteed. Colin works long hours to ensure the work is done as fast as possible, even working until 7pm to get it done. Seriously! Colin's work is impeccable. We recently had a fairly large deck built by him and I can honestly say it is by far the best deck I've ever seen.

We had some reasonably complex excavation done which included retaining walls and drainage. Colin talked to us at length before providing a detailed and accurate quote. The work was done very efficiently, to our specifications and was of a high quality. Colin made sure we always knew what was going on and answered any questions accurately and courteously. We were very pleased with the work done and would recommend him to anyone.

I wanted a backyard makeover for my Villa. Several Quotes were obtained but Colin won the job, not because he was the cheapest but because of the professional way in which he conducted himself. Rare for a trades person to call you if they are running late and even rarer for them to turn up on the day they say at the allocated time. Colin recently completed a considerable retaining wall job for me. Not only did he precisely listen to what I wanted but delivered on that exactly. We were in the process of having a new home built and Colin's signs were popping up in front yards advertising his business. One of the neighbours we asked said he was very happy with Colin's work so we arranged to meet (he turned up at the time agreed) and worked out what we wanted. Got the quote, happy with the quote and started the work. Colin worked in with our builder to do the rear yard retaining wall before access was blocked with building work. Work completed, love the driveway, the retaining walls look fantastic and finished off with the sandstone capping on the letterbox pillar. Quoted price is what we paid even after a few changes. We have to say that the people who work for him are first rate and have had plenty of comments how good it all looks.

A few months ago we had Colin do Colin do some build retaining walls & concrete paths. there was a significant amount of excavation that needed to be carried out. Everything was done with a very high standard of work. The most pleasing part of the experience was that Colin was running the job at all times & he did everything he said he would. I chose Active Industries purely because they had lots of reviews. Colin did a garden path around my new extension. I had several people quote on the job but Colin was the only one who listened to what I wanted. I kept telling the "others" I need to consider some kind of drainage and each quote came back with no drainage proposal. Colin gave me a reasonable quote with drainage. Hi, I first had Colin excavate my back yard in which he was on time and the job was done that day to a exceptional standard. I have now had him do my retaining wall and garden edge at the front of my house and the job i sensational. He has never been late from quote from to completion. The brick work is better than the company i built my house with. In chatting to Colin i can see that he is still very customer focused even after 15 years of experience. Just to add the quote i had in writing had everything written on it so both of us were clear on what was expected for my money which was the best quote out of the 3 i had.
